So come 7 p.m. I was drained. My eyes were glazed over. My back hurt.
I headed home on my bike dead set on spending the night on the couch eating an un
healthy, quick-to-prepare dinner.I got home and Jack jumped up and I said, "Do you want to go on a run?"
What? Where did that come from? The second I said it, I thought, Yes...let's go on a run! Aw that boy just helps me out sometimes.
I wasn't that hungry for dinner yet, I needed the energy boost, and Jack could use some exercise. So I changed real quick and we headed toward Lake of the Isles. I had no distance in mind and figured that anything I was doing was better than my original nonstop couch plan.
So we ran to the dog park and back. It's just one mile there and back. It wasn't too strenuous. But I was dang proud of myself! It was a gorgeous night and the smile on Jack's face said it all: we did good!
When we got home, I whipped up some Morningstar Chick' N Nuggets. Not necessarily a winner's dinner, but hey, I was hungry and it was 8 p.m. by that time! Much later than my normal dinner time. And a much better choice than what I really wanted: fast food!

Then as I sat down to my deluxe gourmet dinner, I remembered that I had Tuesday's Biggest Loser on my DVR. Well, picture me happy.
If you missed last Tuesday's Biggest Loser, run to your computer on Tuesday when it's posted on NBC.com. This one was a tear jerker! At least for me.
Next week is the finale, so this week was a lot about looking back at how far the contestants have come. Which is a LONG way. And, of course, they had to run the Biggest Loser marathon. A race that inspired me to sign up for my half marathon many months ago. And with my race in just 3 weeks, it was all the boost I needed to think: I CAN DO IT!
Watching these contestants transform their lives just brings a tear to my eye. Biggest Loser you get me every time!
So after my nonstop spreadsheet session all day, I had a pretty fab night. Just had to share it with y'all.

I love BL! I'm hoping for Mike or Darius (if he makes it to the final 3) to win. They're both major hotties! LOL Mike will be smokin once he gets all his weight off!
ReplyDeleteI love Jack's smile, so cute. =)
ReplyDeleteI cried during Biggest Loser on Tuesday also! Anytime they "look back and see how far they've come" I always end up crying! It's amazing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, have you heard about "Losing it with Jillian?" I am interested to watch that after the BL Finale. I've always wanted Jillian Michaels to kick (and scream at me) my ass in to shape so hopefully this will keep my motivation going after BL is done for the season.
