Weekend Out East

Sorry my blogging habits were sporadic at best last week. Apparently things get busy post-holiday! But now I'm back for my first full week in about a month!

I must blog about this past weekend though. It was an absolute blast!

We were invited up to our friend Sam's cabin, just outside of Hudson.

We got there Friday night right around dinner time and naturally, it was cocktail hour. There was about 10 of us up there so we lounged and played a few drinking games.

Then Saturday we got up and played some tennis. Oh yeah, they have a tennis court on property! I played vs. Nick and Nikki and it was super fun. By lunchtime we were hot and sweaty so it was time to head to the lake! Sam's place is gorgeous and down the hill from the cabin he has a great beach set up and a boat. So we did some swimming and then it was boating time!

We did tubing and lots of it. I freaking LOVE tubing but I have to admit. I've been a bit sore ever since! Especially in my obliques. Good things.

Then Saturday night we just enjoyed dinner and some drinks. Great time.
