Vacation!

Hello all! Happy Monday to me because I'm officially on vacation for the week. Lovin' it so far!

This past weekend I went up to Aitkin, MN (near Lake Mille Lacs) for a relaxing weekend with the fam. I drove up with my mom and Jack and we met my mom's boyfriend Jeff and his parents for a nice weekend. We played lots of cards Friday night and that's pretty much it. I was in bed by 9:30. Ahhh freaking wonderful.

Saturday my mom and I woke up early to play some tennis. There were some great courts by the Aitkin High School that we had to ourselves. My mom hasn't played in years but she's the reason I play so it was fun to hit the court with her. She had some trouble serving but some of her shots were hard to hit! It was great to play with her and tons of fun. Plus, we were happy to get some exercise in. After tennis we hit some garage sales and then it was time to get on the lake. I was the only "kid" there so I got to tube as much as I wanted, and that was great! My mom even tried tubing (her first time ever!) and that was hilarious to watch. Then we just hung out, enjoyed the sun, and played some more cards. Saturday night I was in bed by 11. I just loved being early to bed all weekend!

Sunday my mom and I played more tennis and then we came back and were ready to hit the road. When we got back yesterday I was go, go, go with errands because today I'm headed to Los Angeles for some vacation! Nikki, Eric, and I are visiting our friend Nate and enjoying the City of Angeles. I absolutely can't wait!

So you won't hear from me for a while. But the best news: I got a new camera for the trip (mine has been MIA for a while here) so I'll have lots of pictures to update y'all after the trip.
