Vacay Recap!

Hello everyone! I'm back!

My vacation to Los Angeles was absolutely wonderful! Hit up the West Coast with Nikki and Eric. And we stayed with our friend Nate who lives by Venice Beach. But I'm happy to be home after a whirlwind 6 days full of sightseeing, friends, and lots of sun!

Here is a quick photo recap of my trip. Enjoy! Real blog on renewing my healthy lifestyle tomorrow. (Because, you know, nothing throws a healthy life off like a vacay).

We arrived late Monday night so we just hit the hay.

We woke up bright and early Tuesday so we had time to hit Malibu and Calabasas before picking up Eric at the airport. Here we are in Malibu Canyon.

Picked up Eric and headed to Santa Monica. Here we are at Third Street Promenade.

Wednesday. We tried to get on the Price Is Right, but no dice. So we hit up Venice Beach. Here is my excellent hot dog (well, two hot dogs) from the boardwalk.

Thursday was Hollywood day. Hollywood sign in the distant background.

We found a Harry Potter store! Of course we had to play with the wands.

Malibu! Gorgeous.

We also met some new friends and hit the town with them. Tres fun.

So there's a very brief recap of some choice pictures. I had an absolutely amazing time. The weather was perfect. 70 degrees with no humidity (very nice right now as I'm sweating in my house) and we had lots of sun.

But I'm happy to be home. I went and picked up Jack from my mom's house. I missed him so much, it was nice to come home to him!

And now I'm in normal post-vacay mode: Getting life back in order, getting back on track with food/diet (much more about this tomorrow), and catching up on sleep!
